Meet Dr. Mike Calderón
DR. MIKE E. CALDERÓN
D.A.B.O.I., D.I.C.O.I. | Founder – Instructor
After receiving his DDS Degree from the Dental School of Case Western Reserve Ohio in 1994, he moved back to Brooklyn, New York. He worked at a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital between 1994 to 1999. Dr. Calderón completed a 2-year program at the United States Dental Institute, where he received his certification in orthodontics. Dr. Mike Calderón also completed 2 years at New York University as an Implant Resident. He has an extensive education and experience in implant dentistry, having placed more than 10,000 implants. He established his private practice in West Islip, New York where he provides both advanced surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry for his patients. Dr. Mike E. Calderón lectures nationally and internationally on implant-related topics. Dr. Mike E. Calderón is the founder of Calderón Institute. He is a member of the following:
· Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
· Academy of Osseointegration (AO)
· American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID)
· Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (DICOI
· Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI)

Our Study Clubs offer an evening of great food, atmosphere and place to really relax and talk to other dental professionals and best of all, at a terrific price.
We offer a variety of interesting topics for discussion, which is followed by a PowerPoint presentation. The topics are chosen to update our attendees with:

DR. MARCELO E. CALDERÓN

Instructor
Dr. Marcelo was an associate’s clinical professor at NYU’s Continuing Education Program for “Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetic Treatment” for 12 years.
He is a good standing member of ICOI, AAID, AO, AGD, and ADA.
Graduated in 1987 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He went on to complete a two-year TMJ course in 1989.
Dr. Marcelo continued his education by completing a two-year Orthodontic course, a one year residency in periodontics and a two year course on Implantology and Prosthetics.
Dr. Marcelo was an associate’s clinical professor at NYU’s Continuing Education Program for “Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetic Treatment” for 12 years.
He is a good standing member of ICOI, AAID, AO, AGD, and ADA.
DR. ANTHONY GERACI
D.D.S., FICOI
Instructor
Dr. Geraci graduated cum laude from State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. After his post -graduate residency at Nassau County Medical Center, he stayed on for a second year serving as an attending doctor, teaching new residents, managing operating room cases and performing the more advanced dental cases in the medical center. Following residency, he completed advanced training in prosthetics and occlusion at the Pankey Institute.
He then began pursuing his surgical education by completing a 2-year Implantology certificate program at New York University College of Dentistry Linhart School of continuing education. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.C.O.I), and he is teaching faculty at the Calderone Institute. The pursuit of advanced education in all facets of dentistry has always been a part of his vision, to become a well-rounded practitioner.
A New York native Dr. Geraci is part of a group practice in Massapequa N.Y.,
Greater Long Island Dental. The practice features state of the art dental technology such as Cerac, Conebeam Ct, digital impressions Itero, digitally milled surgical guides via Cerac, orthodontics, full mouth rehab cases, esthetic cases, Implant placement etc.

DR. RJ Davis
DMD
Instructor
Dr. RJ Davis completed undergraduate studies at Rutgers University where he majored in biological science. He then went on to earn his DMD from UMDNJ and continued to complete a hospital-based residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. Here, he completed extensive rotations in surgery, anesthesia, and general medicine. Here is also where he placed his first implants and discovered his love for the art of Implantology.
This led him to complete 3 additional years at NYU Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Fellowship where he gained experience in advanced Bone Grafting, Sinus Augmentations, and Complex Implant Bone Restorations.
During this time, he also got his certification in Intravenous Anesthesia from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. He then proceeded to complete the Calderón Sinus Augmentation Course to gain extra experience in these procedures.
Dr. Davis immediately felt a connection with the mission of the Calderón Institute to teach high quality Implant Surgery to willing doctors.
Currently he has a private practice with his father in Manalapan, New Jersey and places over 100 implants a year.
